On November 11, 2021, we handed out flyers about the food drive to houses near Encinal High school. On November 18, 2021, we collected the bags and boxes of food from the houses we passed flyers to. We transported the food by car to the First Presbyterian Church of Alameda. We sorted out a huge amount of food by types (for example, soup, vegetables, legumes, meat, dairy, rice, pasta, etc.). It was a successful food drive. We feel very proud for collecting so much food for the food bank.
